About Me

I began my career in 2014 as a Business Reporter at the Leicester Mercury before moving to the Mail Online in 2016. In January 2018 I joined the Evening Standard's night desk as a News Reporter covering crime, local government, showbiz and human interest stories. I was later promoted to Showbiz Reporter, covering red carpets and press junkets.
In 2020 I went freelance, working for Sky News, PA Media (formerly The Press Association) and The Independent as a News Reporter and The Sun as a Consumer Reporter. In September that year I was appointed UK Correspondent of the German press agency DPA, where I extensively covered the UK's withdrawal from the European Union.
The following June I joined PA Media as a General Reporter where I reported on several major stories, including the G7 Summit, the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Infected Blood Inquiry, the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and Queen Elizabeth II's death and funeral.
From January 2023 to July 2024 I worked at The Times, as a Night News Editor and Copytaster and The i Paper as a freelance Late Breaking News Editor and News Reporter.
Since July 2024, I have been Assistant News Editor at Metro, focusing on our specialist reporters and projects that Metro runs, including our VAWG campaign, This Is Not Right.
